Lauren grew up in Amarillo attending Central, before attending Abilene Christian University. She graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Sculpture. She moved to Nashville, and worked as a baker and floral designer, before entering the corporate world coordinating healthcare benefits and appealing denied insurance claims.

 

She married her husband Holton in 2013, and they have two children, Vera and Arthur. They moved to Amarillo in 2023 to be closer to family, and she started working for Central soon after. Outside of work, you can probably find her spending time outdoors with her kids, baking or crafting, or enjoying her husband’s cooking skills.
