NEW WEDNESDAY CLASS THIS WEEK
Starting this Wednesday, February 16, Greg Dowell will be teaching a 3-week class entitled “Meditating on God’s Word” on Wednesday nights. Join us in the Commons from 7-8:00 pm as we explore and practice the discipline of scriptural meditation. If you would like childcare, please contact the church office at 806.373.4389.
GRIEFSHARE
Will be offered on Thursday evenings March 3—May 26 from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Commons. GriefShare is a grief support group open to anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one, whether recently or years ago. Cost is $20; scholarships are available. 4AMARILLO SUNDAY EVENING EVENT
On March 6, the four downtown
churches will welcome Dr. Jim Denison, author of "The Coming Tsunami," for an evening in Amarillo. He will present thoughtful, biblical conversations on several current topics which he covers in depth in his upcoming book. Dr. Denison holds a Ph.D and an M.Div from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a D.D. from Dallas Baptist University. This Sunday night event will be hosted at First Baptist Church from 6-7pm.
